From Gloom to Bloom: Nurturing a positive mindset
Six months ago, as I reflect on my memories, I find myself navigating the waters of negativity as the captain of a ship dedicated to finding flaws and drawbacks. My instinct was to extract ten negative points, all in the name of preparing myself for the worst in every situation. My rationale was that if something good were to happen, it required no preparation, but what if adversity struck? I wanted to be perpetually prepared. However, this constant preparation for adversity began to take a toll on my mental well-being. I found myself immersed in a sea of negative thoughts, a toxicity that slowly poisoned my outlook on life. It became increasingly challenging for me to strike a balance, as this excessive negativity hindered my happiness.
